- Be careful when approaching wild animals that you may encounter at the cheetah park or crocodile farm and follow instructions from the guides at these parks.
- While the Garden Route is general safe and free of serious crime, petty crime can sometimes occur – keep valuables safely locked up and do not leave any items in your car during activities and excursions.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth, also known as "The Bay," is one of South Africa's largest cities, located in the Eastern Cape Province, about 770 km east of Cape Town. You’ll be collected from Port Elizabeth Airport at 14:00 pm and begin your exploration with a city tour. During the tour, visit the Dunkin Memorial, a notable landmark of the city. Afterward, enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for an overnight stay in Port Elizabeth.
Day 2: Tsitsikamma / Plettenberg Bay
Start your day by traveling to Tsitsikamma, an area famous for its vast indigenous forests, deep river gorges, and stunning coastlines. Explore the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, a place of natural beauty. Then, visit Nature's Valley, a peaceful and picturesque spot surrounded by nature. If you wish, you can visit Monkeyland and Birds of Eden to see a variety of wildlife. Afterward, head to Plettenberg Bay and enjoy the scenic views. Visit Knysna Heads and the Waterfront for more exploration. In the evening, enjoy a dinner and an overnight stay in Knysna.
Day 3: Knysna / Oudtshoorn
Today, visit the charming town of Oudtshoorn, known as the center of South Africa’s ostrich farming industry and home to the world-famous Cango Caves. You can also visit the Elephant Park (optional), where you can interact with these majestic creatures. Then, explore the Cango Caves, a stunning natural wonder, followed by a visit to an ostrich farm to learn about the fascinating world of ostriches. After a day full of activities, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Oudtshoorn.
Day 4: Mossel Bay
After breakfast, head to Mossel Bay, a historic town discovered by Bartholomew Dias. Mossel Bay is one of the key attractions on the Garden Route. At 10:00 am, embark on a thrilling Garden Route Safari game drive at Botlierskop Game Reserve. Experience close encounters with a variety of wildlife, including rhinoceros, lions (within a 100 ha enclosure), buffalo, giraffe, rare black impala, mountain zebra, and elephants, among others. After the safari, depart for Cape Town in the afternoon.
